Are there any good houses in Bournemouth?
House hunting in Charminster proving a bit of a headache? We hear you! Finding that perfect little two or three-bed that isn't a 70s time capsule or a modern build on a busy road is tough going right now.
I've been house hunting in our fair town for a while now, mainly focusing on two or three bedroom places in Charminster, and I'm fed up. Stock seems to be either 100+ years old with attendant problems or horrible new-ish builds smeared up against busy junctions or the spur road. A few years ago it was pretty common to find houses with no central heating. The older stuff (needed because I am a normal-sized human being) is either untouched since at least the 70s or badly diy-bodged up to fool, well, people like me.
Or have I got it all wrong and there's a okay area with okay housing that I just don't know about?
